Football
Football is the most popular sport at Cobdown Sports Club. We have three senior 11-a-side pitches, two 11-a-side youth pitches and one 7-a-side junior pitch. We also have two training areas, one which is used all year round and a floodlit area which is available in winter months.
We have two grass 5-a-side pitches available in the Summer season. Cobdown can also provide pitches for cup finals, tournaments, soccer coaching and school matches. Changing facilities are available for all.
Cobdown is the home ground for many local football teams if you are a member of one of our home teams you also get the benifit of using the Social Club.
Pitch hire is charged at a lower rate for a home team.
Cobdown Sports and Social Club are now the home ground for Maidstone United Academy,this is a course for young up and coming football players it attracts players from all over the South East , the corse is run by SR Education for more information about the Academy at Cobdown please click the link
